I tried out my first HDR shots using the Nokia 808 PureView today. The mini-tripod proved to be quite useful to limit camera shake and therefore reduce artifacts produced by “deghosting” in the HDR program. I could do with some more practice, but I think the results are interesting enough. I used the GIMP to “straighten” the images.
There you have it, some fairly nice images from a camera phone that will do quite nicely as prints or desktop backgrounds when I can figure out how to reduce the noise when you zoom in. You’ll probably see some more shots of this city under blue sky from atop high places in the near future, I hope you enjoy these 🙂
